Divisional Vice President (Eastern US Market)

Confidential Search – National Mortgage Lender

A fast-growing national mortgage lender is seeking an experienced Divisional Vice President to lead and expand production across the Eastern U.S. Retail Market. This leader will play an instrumental role in driving growth, recruiting producers, opening branches, and strengthening operational excellence. The Division already has momentum, and we’re looking for someone who knows how to take a strong foundation and scale it aggressively.

This role is ideal for a seasoned retail mortgage executive who has built teams, opened new markets, and knows how to coach, recruit, and inspire loan officers to win market share.


What You’ll Take Ownership Of

• Execute the company’s growth strategy across the Eastern markets
• Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing Loan Officers and Branch Leaders
• Build and lead a strong sales and operations infrastructure
• Expand market share through business development and competitive positioning
• Increase production volume, profitability, and branch performance
• Maintain operational excellence in origination, processing, and closing
• Support branch P&L strategies, monitor expense management, and drive profitability


Daily Focus Includes

• Meeting or exceeding production targets
• Developing LO skillsets through ongoing coaching and training
• Identifying business opportunities and new market entry points
• Staying informed on competitive rates, trends, and local activity
• Maximizing branch growth while elevating service quality and customer experience
• Implementing systems that support speed, compliance, consistency, and ROI


What We’re Looking For

8+ years retail mortgage retail production management experience
• Track record of building retail teams and growing branch networks
• Proven success increasing volume, revenue, and market presence
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, coaching, and communication ability
• Strategic thinker who executes and problem-solves in real time
• Deep knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, GNMA and mortgage compliance/regs
• Bachelor’s degree a plus
