Regional Mortgage Sales Leader – Northeast Expansion

A fast-growing state-chartered bank is expanding its retail mortgage footprint across the Northeastern U.S. We’re looking for an experienced mortgage industry leader who wants to drive that growth—and who’s ready to build and lead top-performing sales and operations teams across the region.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and manage high-performing mortgage sales and operations teams across multiple Southeastern markets.

  • Develop business plans to expand market share, drive production, and grow profitability.

  • Proactively recruit seasoned loan officers and leaders to fuel regional growth.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for expansion.

  • Coach and mentor originators to increase volume and market presence.

  • Oversee branch operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and high-quality customer service.

  • Partner with executive leadership to align regional goals with corporate strategy.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has at least 3 years of mortgage production management experience leading teams.

  • Brings at least 8 years of retail mortgage origination experience.

  • Knows how to recruit and retain high-producing loan officers.

  • Understands agency guidelines (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, GNMA) and compliance requirements.

  • Can balance big-picture strategy with the day-to-day needs of running branches.

  • Has strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.

  • Is analytical, decisive, and driven to achieve results.

  • Operates with integrity, professionalism, and discretion.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary

  • Lucrative overrides on regional production

  • High commissions for personal production
